I'm fucked times nine, sideways, six ways to Sunday. There is absolutely no way in hell I will be able to redo these notes - if I can't recover them some way, I'm beyond fucked. I can't find them in any backups, I can't find any way of recovering lost data through OneNote, and prior to me resetting OneNote refused to sync to OneDrive so I can't pull any of the notes from there. Sure enough, I've even looked on the OneNote app info in settings and over 4 gigabytes worth of lecture handouts and extensive markups I've made have all been lost somehow. Within about five seconds it was done, so I went back into OneNote and an entire semester of lecture notes has vanished. I moved on to trying to reset OneNote - the settings app explicitly states it won't affect my documents, it will only revert default settings. Well, today I was inserting some more lecture slides and it flatly refused to insert them at all - multiple tries, restarting OneNote, restarting my computer, changing the default PDF program, nothing worked. For almost a year, OneNote has been throwing errors about every other time I've inserted printouts, which normally resolved on their own by trying to insert them again (I get the "EmbeddNodeCreationFailed" error constantly, and for no reason - the docs open fine in every other program).
